About
I'm Nathan Chadwick. If you know me as Chaddie, that's the one. I'm a sales engineer at a cybersecurity company, based in the UK. Day to day that means translating real customer problems into workable architecture, demos that hold up, and solutions organisations can actually run. Before that I was a lead infrastructure engineer, where the focus was Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and pragmatic delivery. I care about clear communication and shipping work that survives production, not just a slide deck.
I'm a curious person by nature. I love expanding my knowledge, tinkering with home automation, and chasing the next skill that makes life or work a bit sharper. The meaning of life fascinates me, and I'm always trying to better myself: mentally, physically, and in how I show up for other people. Helping others grow and learn is one of the things that gives the work real weight for me.
Outside my day job I take on occasional client work, build tools and side projects (including this site), share notes on the blog, and stay active in the gym. Training and fitness keep the energy and discipline high when everything else gets noisy. Dragon Ball Z has been in my orbit since I was a kid: take the hit, power up, come back sharper. I have done that after mistakes, after failure, after being bullied at school, after being seen as different, and after heartbreak. I have always come back stronger. Same idea as a training block, with more yelling at clouds.
At home I share the place with two very opinionated French bulldogs. Life is never boring.

Browse projects →Separate from my day job, if you need help with Intune, M365, a security review, or a small-business web presence, have a look at the services outlined on the consultancy page. Pricing is listed there as a starting point.
View consultancy services →UniFi Dream Machine Pro up front, Sophos Switch in the middle, Sophos Firewall for lab VLAN 69 / ESXi (Windows 11, Windows Server, Linux), Proxmox Docker hosts, Cloudflare Tunnels, Nginx Proxy Manager, and a mostly Dockerised Plex / Overseerr / Home Assistant stack.
